Yesterday was my grandmother's birthday. She is 78 years young. Yesterday found her with a birthday celebration surrounded by her family. They were not about to let the threat of ol Eduardo ruin a good party. A few things about the birthday girl:
1. likes, no, LOVES Shipley's doughnuts
2. raised five of the most creative DIYers I know
3. never lets me slouch when sitting or standing
4. left her country to provide a better life for her children
5. doesn't need a pattern to make anything
6. loves Dr. Pepper
7. knits a baby blanket and booties for every great grandchild
8. has 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchidren
9. has two legal birthdays
10. loves cookies

She does love her grandchildren awful lot. She loves to watch her novelas and listen to the news in spanish. Thank you for including her in your blog.
