Happy Birthday Nola!!!

My sweet sister celebrates a birthday today... I remember when Mom and Dad brought her home from the hospital!!! It's been a priviledge to see what a beautiful woman she has become inside and out.


A few facts about the birthday girl....
1. Has an affinity for Pringles
2. Got braces for the first time put on yesterday (she can't even eat her own birthday cake!!)
3. Does a wonderful manicure and pedicure on my girls
4. Has great fashion taste and keeps me in check
5. Is friend to all
6. Loves Us Weekly and People
7. Looks phenomenal in a bikini
8. Can still remember all the cheers from high school
9. Always lets her bigger sisters boss her around (and still does)
10. Is the sweetest most wonderful person you'll ever meet

Being bored gets us into trouble....

So Sunday the girls couldn't stand that David wanted to watch the Masters and whined enough to get him to DVR it. So what are two bored little girls and an imaginative father to do??? Why hit a Pinata!! I was out running errands and this is what I see when I get home....

There were books, pencils, stuffed animals, lip gloss, toy cell phones, and string cheese inside. They loved it!!!

What fun we are having!!!

...so the Quicks are really enjoying the great weather we have been having.The girls have been helping Mom keep the flowers looking tip top and we are waiting on our pavers to be tumbled so we can finish our patio...we can't wait!!. David has been much more perky and I think it might be that with the longer days that means he can sneak some holes of golf in after work! Hmmm...
